General terms of use of the newsletter

Definitions

Newsletter : A newsletter, or information bulletin or news sheet or E-bulletin is an information document e-mailed periodically to a mailing list of people who have previously registered. 

The information bulletin or newsletter may als be downloaded, following registration on the Fluid Industry website.

E-mail address: This is your electronical mailbox.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          We will use this address in order to communicate with you.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Your email address must correspond to the format : myname@mydomain.com

The address you give us must not contain spaces or accents. It must end with a suffix such as .com, .fr, .net or other country code.                                                                                                                                                                                                         
Subscriber: the subscriber is a natural person or legal entity who has subscribed to the Fluid Industry newsletter service.                                                                                                                          The subscriber acknowledges and accepts these general terms of use.

Subscription procedure: 

The newsletter service is 100% free. If Fluid Industry decides that the newsletter will no longer be provided free of charge, subscribers will be notified in advance so that they can consent to subscribing to a paying newsletter service.

The subscription procedures consists of simply registering an email address and filling in the mandatory fields of a subscription form to validate the registration. 

Validation of the subscription from in its entirety means that the user accepts Fluid Industry's general terms of use in full. 

Email addresses may occasionnaly be entered in our mailing list in error. Fluid Industry has established an unsubscription system and black lists so that clients can de-register from our newsletter. Fluid Industry cannot be held responsible if an un-registered user receives the newsletter in error, even if this occurs on serveral occasions. (see the unsubscription procedure)

Service offered

Newsletters are sent to subscribers automatically. The newsletter will be sent daily or weekly to the email address supplied by the subscriber.

The content of the newsletter is supplied by Fluid Industry, which shall not be held responsible for the direct or indirect consequences purely for information purposes and may contain any kind of information - promotional offers, general information on the Fluid Industry group and its partners, news etc. 


Unsubscription procedure

All newsletters subscribers have the option of unsubscribing as well as the right to access and amend their personal information by virtue of the laws on information technology and civil liberties. Subscriber may be therefore amend their personal profiles at any time. Fluid Industry undertakes to put all means in place to ensure the security of the databases containing personal information. 

If you would like to disconnect, two solutions are available to you:

1. You can amend your profile via our online forum. Here are the steps to follow :
- Connect to our Fluid Industry connection module using your login ID and password.
- Following connection, click on the Forum menu at the top right-hand side of the page.
- Once on the forum, click on the 'profile' tab 
- You will then have the option of amending your ''profile'' via the ''Amend'' tab, click on the ''Amend my profile'' sub-menu.
- Then click on the information tab.
- Finally, deselect the box ''I subscribe to the Fluid Industry newsletter''.
- Then enter
2. Send an email to the following address: website@fluidindustry.com
- Informing us of your request to unsubscribe, and we will attend to your request as soon as possible.

If you receive a newsletter in spite of your unsubscription, please do not hesitate to contact our ''Business Intelligence'' departement via one of our call centres. We will do our utmost to ensure that this does not happen again. Fluid Industry cannot be held responsible if you have not used all the options available to unsubscribe.
